The Driver Support Plan will rush to your aid wherever you are, to provide assistance with flat tyres, flat batteries, to deliver fuel in case yours has run out (fuel is at owner’s cost) and to assist with keys accidently locked in your car.
In the unlikely event of a car breakdown, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange for your car to be towed by an approved towing operator, to the nearest authorised GM dealership, or where possible, send a qualified technician to assist you with the problem.
If necessary, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange free safe storage for your car for up to 48 hours.
Repatriation of cars
Should you have to leave your car for repairs at an authorised GM Dealership located more than 100 km from your home, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange to have your car returned to you free of charge or assist you to return to your car.
Should you be stranded further than 100 km from your home or destination due to your car undergoing un-scheduled repairs, GM Driver Support Plan will provide you with alternative transport, either to your home or planned destination. This service is available in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia and Botswana subject to specific terms and conditions.
In the event of a breakdown further than 100 km from your home or destination, we will arrange either accommodation or an alternative car to enable you to reach your destination, as well as relay urgent messages and provide telephonic directions.
General Motors Driver Support Plan will supply you with information regarding your car, including general info (fuel & oil recommendations), service intervals, tyre maintenance, warning systems, accessory enquiries or Dealer locations and telephone numbers. Regular performance assessments ensure that all GMSA services meet our strict standards and that your ‘personal assistant’ is always ready and waiting any hour of the day or night, 365 days a year. All you have to do is call to take advantage of the superior services offered by the Driver Support Plan.
