REEDS hand over donations to various charities : Wines-2-Whales Entry Auction

REEDS hand over donations to various charities from the proceeds generated from the Wines 2 Whales Entry Auction:

In August this year the REEDS group teamed up with the organizers of the Contego Wines 2 Whales event in the form of REEDS and ISUZU Truck Centre representing the official off road sponsor.

It is common knowledge that the Wines 2 Whales event is a sold out occasion, so when we were offered the opportunity of a number of secured entries, we grabbed them with both hands.

The initiative to auction off some of the entries came from Mr. Donald Christy, the Groups MD, as he felt it was another opportunity for REEDS to give back into the community. REEDS have been intimately involved in the cycling communities for the past 12 years and would like to thank all cyclists that have supported us over this period.

Your support is what enable us to continue to do these types of initiatives. REEDS handed over a donation to the value of R3500 per charity nominated. We say thanks to the riders again for supporting the initiative and we wish all the organizations the very best. To those lucky enough doing the Adventure or the Race – enjoy and ride safe!!
