Reeds Centenary Year
In 1909, two brothers, Arthur and Alfred Reed, started the first motor company of its kind in the country. From Bree Street in Cape Town, they provided general maintenance to the few vehicle owners at the time, and shortly after became a selling agency. Due to their growth over the years, A & A Reeds were taken over by a number of larger groups, until finally in August 1999, it was taken over by an independent group – Reeds Motor Group (Pty) LTD (which includes Isuzu Truck Centre).
And now we celebrate an amazing 100 years in which the Reeds Group has grown and flourished. While others have come and gone, Reeds has remained, through good times and bad times, always supporting our customers through service excellence and product delivery.
Reeds N1 City was awarded GM’s Volume Dealer of the Year for a third year in a row and Isuzu Truck Centre was awarded Isuzu Truck Dealer of the Year.
We are proud of our achievements and as we celebrate the past 100 years we also look forward to our future.
