According to Craig Uren, Senior Vice President Isuzu Sales and Marketing, the mu-X has been developed with the express purpose of sending the auto brand in a bold new direction. The aim is to associate Isuzu with luxury, exceptional ride quality and superior technology, and build on the success of the SUV’s predecessor, which ruled the roost as segment leader in Australia for just shy of a decade.

The reason why the new mu-X received such an amazing safety rating can be ascribed to the fact that a lot of time was spent to bring in details such as a centre airbag between the driver and passenger in front, as well as body structure elements crafted from high tensile steel that simultaneously makes the vehicle safer and lighter.
