The new decade has arrived, and at REEDS that means we are getting ready to facilitate the rollout of an exciting collection of new OPEL models in South Africa. 2020 seems poised to ring in an era of untold innovation for the German automaker and we feel immensely honoured to welcome their new and improved models on our showroom floors throughout the Mother City.
So, without further ado, here is the list of OPEL vehicles what will be launched in South Africa throughout the course of 2020:
OPEL Astra
The reimagined Astra will be launched in South Africa in the second quarter, and the multiple COTY-winner has certainly enjoyed a major refresh. Sculptural artistry meets German precision in the stance and design of this bold new model - a tour de force underpinned by excellent handling and affordable running costs.
OPEL Corsa
The 2020 Opel Corsa could very well one be one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year. The sixth iteration of the highly regarded compact vehicle was officially launched at the most recent Frankfurt International Motor Show and has already managed to bag the title of Best Buy Car of Europe in 2020 since then - making it the third consecutive generation of the Corsa to be given this honour. South Africans can expect it to make its appearance in the third and fourth quarter.
As always, the price tag is one of the major drawing cards, but the new Corsa also boasts an impressive array of creature comforts that include everything from an adaptive glare-free IntelliLux LED® matrix light, to a variety of cutting-edge driver assist systems.
OPEL Zafira Life
The spacious Zafira Life people carrier is all about practicality, comfort, safety and connectivity. This 9-seater van is the ideal option for families, leisure travellers and businesses, and will be available in sunny South Africa from the third quarter onwards. Highlights include effortless handling, low clearance (1.9m), flexible space, ample luggage space and a whole gamut of safety features.
OPEL Vivaro Cargo Panel Van
Get the job done with the multifunctional Vivaro Cargo Panel Van, available in SA from the third quarter. The Vivaro is the perfect midsize delivery van, featuring an array of practical comfort and safety applications that cements its reputation as an 'office on wheels'.
